#reverb12 Day 12: Your most intense emotions?

Today's #reverb12 prompt and image come from my friend Jani who is one of the most sparkly and spritely artists ever. (Have you ever received a glitter bomb via twitter? It's pretty special.)

What made you dance in 2012? What made you weep?

In developing her prompt, Jani said, "I love to focus on the things that make people feel deeply - both kinds of emotions, sad & happy, but intense!". A gal after my own heart.

Thank you, Jani, for reminding us to see the gifts in the emotions we may find confronting... even when they are beautiful!

If you're joining us for the first time, everything you need to know about #reverb12 (including a list of daily prompts, as they are published) can be found here and here. You can jump in at any time!

We're also using the hashtag #reverb12 on twitter and instagram.

We are so very glad that you're here.

  1. Apologies Kat, some of these questions are little too personal to answer. I've skipped a few days already.

    1. Totally fine, Beky! You're most welcome to process the more confronting ones privately, e.g. in a journal, talking with a trusted friend, or just being open to the curiosity about what's so confronting about the question (i.e. pondering in private!).
It's all valid, and there's no compulsion to share here.

  2. I have been following along, participating, and creating fun little bits of art for each day ... posting three days at a time. Haven't commented here until now. Just thought I'd offer the link of the latest one. Anyone is welcome to come visit. Hope you will. Thanks, Kat, for hosting this as you've given me an opportunity to stretch my creative muscles.
