#reverb12 Day 3: What do you really wish for?

Today's #reverb12 prompt and image come from my lovely friend Cam aka Curlypops. Many of you may know Cam as blog button designer extraordinaire. What you may not know is that she is also making the most of a life lived on hold:

Living life on a transplant waiting list gives you lots of reasons to reflect on what you've achieved in your life, and what you wish for the future.

Imagine a scenario where you only had one year left to live. What is one thing that you really wish to do that you just haven't had the chance to accomplish yet?

I would like to add: what steps could you take (however small) to ensure that you accomplish this thing in 2013?

Thank you, Cam, for this incredibly important reminder.

If you're joining us for the first time, everything you need to know about #reverb12 (including a list of daily prompts, as they are published) can be found here and here. We're also using the hashtag #reverb12 on twitter and instagram.

We are so very glad that you're here!

  3. Dear Kat! I love these prompts already! But I have a really BIG QUESTION! Will you be blogging on these topics? Where can I find what you are processing?

  6. Hey Kat. Thanks for the invite to participate in reverb12. At the moment, I'm in an emotional place, I don't feel like I can write as myself if that makes sense. I will support others who are participating with interest. Thank you to all those who are taking part in another awesome blogging month.

  8. Great thinking! Living a life with a chronic illness (MS) causes me also to stop, think, thank, and treasure my days - I really like walking, and talking... so I try and do as much as Ican, while I still can!
To that end I am taking more 'risks' now by putting myself 'out there' more, way out of my comfort zone!
What I wish for? To be even more extravagant with love, art and life! Serendipiously (is that even a word?) I have this new creation just birthed today!

  12. Catching up on the reverb prompts today - this one IS a bit hard for me to put into words! I can see this is a prompt that will be reflected on, if not shared on my blog...though I might share my thoughts on it later in the month =-)
Thank you for hosting this wonderful project Kat - I'm getting excited at these prompts as I add them to my usual year-end worksheets for finding my Word of the Year!
