April Moon: Thank You!
Two weeks ago, we started on a rare day, preceding the night of the blood moon. Yesterday, we finished on an equally rare day, on the cusp of the annular solar eclipse that was visible to few.
There was an email from one of my favourite astrologers in my inbox yesterday morning, advising:
You don't actually need to see this rare celestial spectacle in order to benefit from it. The annular eclipse comes just after a lunar eclipse and a rare 'Grand Cross' so we will all feel its potency.
It has certainly been a potent couple of weeks.
Thank you for sharing the April Moon journey with me.
I've loved the small but intense community that has formed around these daily prompts. I've been blown away on a daily basis with the courage you've shown in responding.
I've also been humbled by the power of a single word.
As many of you have observed: it's been terrifying, it's been exhilarating, it's been surprising.
Simply put: it's been magic.
If you're just finding your writing momentum and are wondering "what's next?", please do stay in touch! I plan to work through my own responses to each prompt over the next few weeks. If you didn't manage to work with every word and you would still like to, you are most welcome to join me here.
I'll also be hosting another reflective writing challenge, August Moon, later this year.
And, in the meantime, you will find no finer writing inspiration than the tantalizing prompts and fascinating community hosted by my friend Alana over at Wolf & Word.
May the soul work continue!
And may this rare celestial event grant your every delicious wish.
