What if this were true?

What if your true nature truly was... luminous?

What would this mean?

How can you sit with this question today?

Even if you think it's the tossiest thing you've ever heard? Especially if you think it's the tossiest thing you've ever heard.

What do you think it actually means?

What could it mean for you?

Would your shoulders drop half a metre?

Would you walk half an inch taller?

Would the space between your ears suddenly feel clear?

Would you sail through every single boring chore for the rest of the day?

Would you galavant out of your own way and sit down and finally write that first chapter that's been swimming (waving, not drowning) in your head for the past few weeks, months, years?

Would you pick up the phone to say nothing more than "I've been thinking of you" or "I'm sorry"?

Would you sit quietly in the grief upon learning of a dear friend's frightening diagnosis?

Would you soak in a bubble bath that's slightly hotter than you can handle?

Would you decide that worrying takes up altogether too much time?

Would you decide that cynicism sues up altogether too much energy?

Would your heart burst into bloom?

Would you hum under your breath... or maybe even warble as loud as you can?

Would you allow yourself to believe that you are every bit entitled to your dreams... and that they will always wait for you?

What would you do -- what step would you take-- that would bring you closer towards your own light?

Tell me.

I dare you.

I dare me too.

  2. If I believed I am luminous, I think I would go and walk on water.

It really seems that unlikely, but if it is true, I might just as well go and see what it feels like to walk on water. Lovely to think about. Thank you.
